Product Launch Mania at ShowUp Virtual Trade Show

January 24, 2021

January 25, 2021 — ShowUp, the new social convention and trade show for the location-based entertainment industry, is showcasing four new product launches at its virtual event scheduled for February 1-3, 2001. ShowUp features over 50-companies presenting the latest entertainment products ranging from arcade games to mobile payment systems to the latest immersive technology.

“The location-based VR market is alive with innovation and pending product launches,” claims ShowUp founder and Master of Ceremonies Bob Cooney. “While retail locations have been forced to close in many markets, entrepreneurs have been busy developing next-generation virtual reality products. For family entertainment centers looking for attractions to get people out of their cocoons and back into locations when the restrictions end, hopefully, this spring, ShowUp is a must-attend event.”

JUMP is the latest experience from James Jensen, the former creative visionary from The VOID. Jensen has been teasing his new wingsuit flight simulator, where 4-jumpers don wingsuits and VR helmets and experience the thrill of base-jumping together. JUMP showcases the power of virtual reality to enable transformational experiences inaccessible to most people. Jensen will join ShowUp host Bob Cooney for a fireside chat to discuss his product launch in detail.

Just in time for the NBA season and March Madness, VRstudios Sports kicks off with Hoops Madness. They are delivering genuine, heart-pounding fun in virtual reality with realistic ball-handling and shooting. With VRstudios Sports, each player gets a persistent profile enabling them to track and improve performance no matter where they play. Players can perfect their skills there on their home VR headset, level up their ability, and then show their skills in competitions at FECs around the country.

SPREE Interactive product launch will unveil a new exclusive Esports partnership. SPREE has designed a new 10-player free-roam version of a popular VR Esport game using all-in-one headsets from Pico Interactive, and their own patented tracking system combining inside-out with Valve’s Lighthouse system. This low-cost hybrid tracking solution with an all-in-one headset powered by the latest Qualcomm chipset promises to be the best value of any high-end free-roam VR system on the market.

Sep’s Diner in the Voxel Arena

Scale-1 Portal will be launching their new cloud-based Voxel Arena, part of the official Oculus for Business program. Voxel Arena features five games including the new Sep’s Diner, a multiplayer cooking game where players work together to keep lines of hungry customers satisfied with yummy burgers and crispy fries. Voxel Arena’s unique approach combines a buy-your-own hardware model with an entirely cloud-based solution for operators. FEC owners just buy Oculus Business Edition headsets and subscribe to the Voxel Arena from the Oculus portal, paying a low monthly fee per headset.
